This is beautiful, I learned to do this as a teenager, but would need to re-learn, but I love this kind of thing!! xx
ReplyDeletelove it, beautiful!
ReplyDeletethe dainty doll's house, you'd probably learn it quickly since you've done it before!
ReplyDeleteelina, agree =)
I keep waiting for embroidery and crochet to come back into fashion. I buy these great pieces whenever I see them and try to use them in unusual ways. Just the thought of someone spending hours creating such beauty gives me the shivers....granny was cool, darnit!
ReplyDeleteAll of my pillowcases have crochet trims, just like the ones I grew up with.
anonymous, you're absolutely right! granny was cool, and she made beautiful things. i hope our generation will make equally lovely things!
ReplyDeletebeautiful :)
ReplyDeletestitching is good... whether it's plans or something else. i love Karen's works, too. :)
ReplyDeletehave fun over there!

ReplyDeleteagnes, hi, thanks for stopping by! i think making something with our hands is good for us; it provides some kind of relaxation for the brain, even if you're focused.
totally, agree. and i would like to do more of it. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful embroidery, good to see indeed that hand made works are still in use!
ReplyDeleteagnes, me too!
ReplyDeletejürgen, absolutely. it's so uplifting to see that the handmade tradition is blossoming! finding things like these is one of the reasons i love the internet.
